one will be a light.... as most cig lighters 'light' up

the blue? one looks smaller guage, so I would guess that's the one for lights.

is the other one red? in the middle? my bet would be that's the +ve

sorry to sound like a retard, but I'm pretty colour blind.

have you got a multimeter ?? As mork said i'd go for the red being the +

I'm guessing the red is positive, white/blue being switched, brown negative.

The blue/white wire looks like the one i wried my boost gauge too behind the light switch which is part of the dash lights/dimmer adjuster.

you are gussing the polarity of the wires for hardwiring your snooper?

Volt meter dude... it will save you buying another snooper from reversing its polarity and popping it!

All fitted, went with the red wire. i know it was a little guess, but i was using a proper hardwire wiring kit with a converter and fuse, so at worst i would of blown a fuse! all went well and is in nice and neat. thanx for the help, i'll get hooked up with a multimeter for next time.
