what colour would u go for. as the guy is only charging me £25 to do the pair

well funny you should say change the strut brace colour as this/next month hopefully the car is going to jake's for a full respray and i have a spare strut brace which was going to get colour matched to the car. i can keep the yellow rocker cover as have a spare one which is the one i would send to the powdercoaters. one thing is for sure its going to be a expensive 2 months with the car going for respray,stage2 c, powercoatings, all grey interior plastics and headlining getting covered in black suede and all the nice blue forge hoses to be ordered and fitted plus a bit of engine bay carbon fibre to be done :D

Does look really good as it is

Think black would be good

Im doing everything under my bay gloss black with red hoses etc
Even the washer bottle and header tank will be gloss black

black would look nice and lose some or most of them silly blue hose covers

bit of a old piccy p34ch3y have removed the on for the secondary air so only have them on the electric cables.

may just get the inlet mani done black but was thinking same colours to what ibizaalex did his plus now on refurbing the cupra alloys im think gloss black with a yellow band going right round think it would look :p

in the very same place as you are at the mo

i was thinking exacly the same

gunmetal or black i would say,the trouble also with haveing a lot of chrome/polished bits, its hard to keep clean all the time

i think im gunna go gloss black all over and mabie keep the chage pipe polished

defo get rid of all the blue pipe covers tho mate,in no way do i mean to efend you but i just think it makes it look so cheap and amature, you know what i mean

may put all the standard black wire covers back, trying to get the car 100% before i take it to vw festival in august. just ordered a high temp carbon fibre kit so may do the charge pipe once i have got the hang of tig welding. a austrailian friend did his charge pipe in carbon fibre along with the header tank, washer bottle, front panel and anything else he could get his hands on looks mint

Ive ditched all my bling and ill be going new OEM silver and black wrinkle paint for the rocker and inlet with some stainless bolts here and there. All with black silicone hoses and plated jubilees and t-bolt clamps. Stealth.
