Had my V2 hybrid for almost 3 months now covering around 1700 miles without any problems until tonight…driving home from work the car was running absolutely fine just off the engine as I’d ran out of charge on my way home, parked the car up and after an hour or so jumped back in to go out, about 400m down the road the engine warning light came on and the car would shudder if I tried to accelerate almost as if the regenerative braking was activated, I pulled over and tried the classic turn off and on again and it was fine. On my way home it did the exact same thing this time saying that the engine needed time to warm up, I’ve always been mechanically sympathetic and although I didn’t sit and fully let the car reach temperature I didn’t exactly boot it from cold.
Has anybody else had this happen? This is the first time I’ve driven the car from cold purely on the engine ?
