Engine Management Light

The engine management light is coming on my car, but then goes off again after a while.... but then comes back on!

When i had my car serviced they said that its the sensor thats causing the problem... does this sound right or is it more likely to be something else?

I have a Mk1 1.9TDi 130 SE

Where are you based mate? Your best bet is getting someone local to run vagcom on your car; then we'll be able to give a better answer to your prob

if you look further down the forum there is a vagcom help requests section, stick a post in there and see if anyone helps out
