engine management light

hi guys,

i picked up my lcr yesterday and after a 3 hour round journey home was massively impressed with it!!

i went to go to the shops today for my missus as she is ill and all was well until i got about a mile up the road.....
i put my foot down in 3rd gear and it started juddering, i initially thought it was the traction as the roads are damp but when i put it into 4th, the engine management light started flashing.

now, i know this isnt always a bad thing but i am very sceptical having just got the car.

what is likely to be the problem? what thrown me is the acceleration is still there its just juddering and not smooth at all.
there are a few mods on the car, green cotton cone filter, decat exhaust, unichip remap.

any ideas what it could be?

im thinking plugs (well hoping) as i still have acceleration.....

also, does anyone know where is the best place near kings lynn, norwich, to take the car to for any problems worse.

my next question is what plugs do you guys go for and where is the best place for coil packs?

hi sam ,can you turn the air bag light of with this bit of kit?

Yes it will turn your airbag light out providing there's no fault with the airbag if there is a fault it will turn the light off then it will come back on so you need to write down the dtc code so you can look in to it more I suggest u get a program or app were u can look up your dtc codes it will make diagnosing faults slot easier with your code reader hope I have helped

So my next question is where does the Vag com connect? I take it is the ecu but where is it?
