engine running a bit low on tick over!!

My ibiza is a 1.2 and when it is ticking over it is ok, however it is difficult to set off as it trys to stall, is there any way that you can give it another 150/200 rpm on tickover???????

my girlfriends 1.2 does this also. I think it idles to low, about 700rpm.

you can adjust the idle speed but I think you need a laptop with the relivant software to do that.

i got this prob 2 mate, mine runs loud on tickover aswel, and coz its only a 3 cylinder on tickover it is a bit bouncy,

got a similar problem here.... the car is fine when you first start it up the as soon as i set of from a junction and the clutch goes in to stop, the revs start dipping slightly... but you can really feel the car juddering anyone know how how to sort it, preferable without VAG com

my 1.2 on a '02' plate used to idle low, jus cured it but setting throttle like nath said!

mine idles low when i start it as if its gonna cut out then is fine, i can drive so don't have othe issues
