Engine spitting?

My ibiza mk2 1.4 spitts goin up the revs and shudders like its missing a beat, when on tick over you can hear a zapping noise from the ht leads, an one else had this sort of botther? if so what is it?

i had this problem. new ignition leads and it will run fine again.

get new leads on, also check your rotor arm and inside of your dizzy cap
