EPC and engine warning light

Hey guys

Sorry about another thread about epc light but not really got a clear answer on problem and any solutions

Was driving last nite just for the sake of driving ( cupra r 2010 ) came off a mini roundabout put my foot down and engine died off, got epc light and engine management light no power and engine running lumpy
After turning engine off and leaving a while I re started and all was fine, should I worry about it and any ideas what may have happened and what I can do about it,
Had been driving hard before it happened and also have been gettin an intermittent bulb warning for a few days

Any help appreciated

I had this problem with mine when I changed the panel filter in the original airbox to a BMC one. happened 5 or 6 times.
Eventually when I changed again to a revo induction kit the problem stopped completely.
My guess is 'oil' from the filter was getting onto the mass airflow meter and making the engine go into limp mode. however I may be completely wrong.

I had the same problem, every time I took it to the garage for them to have a look at it the light went off.
Eventually sorted itself out, hasn't happened in about 6months

Same happened with me everytime. Eventually I timed it right and took it to a garage about it they scanned my car and said that it was a faulty accelerator pedal somehow. I got that changed which cost £200+ if I remember right and then a couple of miles down the road It happened again. That was an expensive waste of time for me...

Had it to the garage and diagnostic said misfire on cylinder 2, suggested to change spark plugs and see how I go, then maybe a coil pack if it continues,
