EPC light and start/stop error

2016 290 cupra Leon just has EPC light come on with start/stop error. No loss of power or smell and restart appears to have removed light.
Wondering if this is an issue to resolve or just a bug

Any help? It’s still on now, along with engine management light and the car appears to judder in lower gear pulling off

So far have changed engine coil and all spark plugs.
Last thing to change is CAM sensor.

any suggestions be great?

Just had a Google and apparently the most common reason for an EPC light could be to do with the throttle system. Might be worth asking other Mk3 owners if they have had similar.

You need to plug it into a proper code reader,. could be 100 different things, no point guessing at random parts.

Yeah so the first code indicated an engine coil but since then there has not been a specific code, just says engine fault or something with no code and the continuing EPC/EM light

Sounds like you need to put it on a better code reader, (VCDS or a professional level one) if the EPC and EML are on then there must be some codes. A lot of cheaper code readers can only read the most basic codes.

So the code was P21CF which says throttle injector which has been ordered. Just waiting for delivery
