Morning all,

My wife and I were just driving along discussing how great my 2016 Cupra ST had been over my 4 years of ownership, in that it had never given me any problems...... That was until she finished her sentence, then all of a sudden:

Error: ESC System
Error: Parkpilot System
Error: TPMS

Cue orange lights for each of these flashing on the dash - as I was on the motorway I couldn't stop to check anything and the car was driving fine and had no loss in power. At the first opportunity I stopped, switched it off and back on and this cleared the faults, for about 10 miles and then they all came back on again.

I got into the car this morning, turned it on, and no faults, until about 10 miles or so down the road when they all came back again.

To preface all this, the TPMS has been telling me that my rear right tyre has had a loss of pressure for the last few weeks, even thought the tyre hasn't been losing any pressure. I just reset it every time.

There seem seems to be plenty of threads about this issue, but with owners sometimes experiencing different warning lights.

Has anyone had any experience of this before who could offer some help? My gut instinct is that it may be the rear right ABS Sensor...

Batteries that are past their best can also give similar issues, but I would agree it's likely to be an ABS sensor. Has the cruise control stopped working too?

Thanks for the response - I'll try and check the battery too.

I haven't tried the cruise control, but it hasn't thrown up any errors to do with that.

Just did a quick check with Carista regarding fault codes and i'm getting the following:

ABS:
08331 - Manufacturer specific code
16389 - Fuel shutoff valve A, Circuit open
16401 - Crankshaft/camshaft position sensor BBank-1

These don't come across as particularly helpful - any recommendations for a more detail IOS OBD2 app for reading fault codes?

Anything to do with a wheel usually is the abs sensor, it acts for multiple actions..
Agreed, probably a faulty ABS/wheel speed sensor, had similar problems on my niece's Golf on 2 occasions, first time was L/H/R sensor then the R/H/R one about a year later.

Hi all,

Small update on this fault - it is still there and got it diagnosed the other day -

Came back with the following:

Brakes - U112100 - Databus missing message.
Gateway - U104000 - Axle differential lock control module no communication.

The garage believed it to be a failed haldex control module due to not getting any communication with it.

Has anyone else here had experience with this?

The part number for my haldex controller is 0CQ 907 554 E

I have found a replacement with the part number 0CQ 907 554 P

The replacement is off a mk7 golf GTi Performance pack - can anyone knowledgeable tell me if this will be a direct swap for my part?

My first inclination would be to find the connectors to the Haldex and ABS sensors and make sure it's just not a case of the green crusties. Have you got a can of electrical contact cleaner?

Many thanks for your reply - I have checked all the ABS sensor connectors and they are all fine - all the ABS rings inside the hubs were also checked.

I'll find the plug for the Haldex controller and check it and give it a clean if necessary.

I have also just discovered today that the Haldex needs servicing which has never been done on my car - Shows how much SEAT know about servicing their own vehicles!
