is it a sport or se ? what size wheels are you going with

Good point as some Sport models are already on lowered suspension as a factory option.

My Sport on the stock 18s has minimal clearance between tyre and arch already.

Hi

Iv also got a sport nice ride considering the bigger wheels and lower suspension. You do feel it tho if the road is a little rough.

haven't actually tried these... but SEAT sell springs which are a 40mm drop not sure what the quality is like. but if interested the part numbers are...

3R0071605A - Front Springs

3R0071606 - Rear Springs

the catalogue i have however say they are £219 per set so total £438 for a full set! this price hopefully has changed since 2010 tho!

I run h & r springs and bilstein shocks on my 2010 diesel sport and it is quite firm but not too bad.

go for it mate, standard ride height is not for the win

Think the springs sold by Seat are Eibach springs.
The Eibach springs are sold in sets of 4 springs.

For Eibach catalog see here: link

The Pro-Kit which I have will lower the front 30-35mm and rear 25-30mm.

I got the official seat lowering springs (20mm all round) fitted 2 weeks ago (it was a toss up between them and the pro-kit) but as i have a 2 year warrenty i vouched for the official springs.

Ride comfort was not affected at all. and im told the pro-kit is very similar.

My 2013 ST Ecomotive has lowered suspension as standard (to help drag and get fuel consumption down).
Its a real pain where I live - grounds out on speed bumps, and bumpy tracks!
Maybe these are the 20mm 'official' lowered springs that whammy had fitted - anyone know?

Dave.

Hmm maybe yours are what my exeo catalogue state? In my catalogue the springs they have quote a drop of 40mm front 30mm rear on the 2.0cr tdi models?

20mm springs

Every time I phone seat I end up pulling my hair out...

I want to order a set of the 20mm lowered springs. Can anyone tell me what dealers can do this for me because in Scotland they are saying they don't exist!!!

Whammy, did your exeo have standard springs on it beforehand? any pictures

im unsure if the 20mm springs are intended to make the sport model even lower or if they are for people like myself with the cr model, to then make it the same as the sport model??

ive put 18's on mine today and the gap is already making me not want to even look at the car. so I have opted for the 20mm springs as I would like to keep the comfort level reasonable, is this the same as you did

I have a TSI sport but for some reason it had comfort springs on it (wasnt a deal breaker for me as the car is just too rare to pass up because of springs) so I purchases the 20mm springs from that website (they are the official seat sport lowering springs made by eibach) the ride height sits very well and I certainly wouldnt want it lower (the pro kit from eibach lowers the front an extra 10mm). Comfort levels are excellent. I dont have pics but can get 1 if you really wish.
