Exhaust help

Hi I have a 2011 seat leon tdi cr170,it has a rear diffuser on it so I'm after a exhaust that fits in the middle like a golf r32,I have been told that a cupra r exhaust mite fit,is there any chance someone could help me find wot parts I need or wot exhaust will deffently fit thanks,mike

Hi Mike, I had the the same car and diffuser. I had the standard Cupra R exhaust fitted but the diameter of the pipe on the Cupra R is larger than the TDI. So I had to have my Cupra R back box pipe adapted to fit. I'm sorry I forget the sizes but it was something like 2.75" vs 2.5" maybe.Not massive.

If you're getting a full system you may need to check the difference in the connection of the cat back of the TDI vs the Cupra R. The Cupra R system is likely to be bigger further forward too, so it'll need some kind of adaptor to create a step in the system.

Also I found the Cupra R back box just as quiet as the standard TDI back box, so look at getting a loud Cupra R system too.

Thanks, but not had that car for 5 years lol

Yours isn't white is it? Can't be to many Mk 2 CR170's with that setup.

Hi Mike, we can provide an R exhaust and some people have purchased these and had them adapted to fit. However, since we have not done the conversion personally we cannot advise as to what you will need to make the adaptions. A decent fabricator should be able to sort it out for you.
