Hi I have. 2007 seat Leon cupra with stage 2 on it , with milltek 3" down pipe decat no middle box either and the back box has been gutted so it's only the shell, I'm getting the back box fully removed and replacing the single exit oval tip with a double exhaust on each side ,

So you's think will they make it much louder or hardly noticeable ,

thanks Ryan

Im going to say its gonna be a fair bit louder and probably illegal :p

Well it's already illegal because of the decat pipe , so that doesn't really bother me , just wondering how much louder it would be with a dual twin exhaust and no back box

I think youve got it as loud as your going to get it. Apart from maybe some side exit pipes straight from the manifold. Maybe a flame or two then. Why so loud it cant sound too grand being that loud especially as there is nothing to tune the way the noise sounds.

Blimey, so you're going to have a pretty much a straight pipe from the downpipe? Yeah that's going to be a louder IMO, but as mentioned, illegal. It's totally your choice of course, but if your car's too loud it will get attention and you'll be pulled for it. Plus your neighbours won't like it so you may get some complaints against your car. I'm sure there is a noise limit, or decibel meter thingy ma jig that cars are usually limited to. Shame you live so far away, I'd be interested to hear what it sounds like when you get it done.

They defo need more noise
I have cat back milltek
Non res not loud at all
I am guessing de cat and down pipe might help the lack of noise

The standard cat muffles a lot of sound, a proper downpipe with a sports cat/decat will give a lot more noise

Cheers mate defo needs it
Trouble is I bought the car with a stage 1 map on it and it's locked
I can get it wiped by shark performance to stage 2 but all money

It is very loud with my current set up but I love the attention (goes with the colour) these are very quiet cars , even with a straight pipe it is quite quiet off the boost but when it comes on boost it sounds immense, my neighbours love me haha

All I can say is don't do it if your car is a daily driver it will drive you mad I've got a straight pipe from header to tips no silencers cat or back boxes and the drone on the motorway is awful 2000-3000 rpm just constant drone sounds good at higher rpm and pops bangs etc but it's not easy to live with.

Only my opinion but off boost I want my car quiet on boost loud as anything.

Ah my commute is 32 mile round trip, a mile from work car I'd make the car a weekend car no where near enough time for the engine to warm up and by the time you leave it idling to warm up you'd could of got there in a 1l mii lol

also if you ever want to track it there really hot on noise these days currently building a new rear end for mine to be track day compliant.

Yeh mine doesn't even warm up properly by the time I reach work , I drive it like a old man ,

Mostly out in it on the weekend . Driving it properly rarely see over 15 mpg

I' couldn't trust myself on a track with the money that I've put into it incase I crashed lol
