Hey guys, new to the forum, and new ibiza mk2 :)

When I bought the car, it had an exhaust leak from the join in the manifold and the downpipe section. So I bit the bullet and started looking for tubular manifolds, as I had fancied one anyway.

I found and bought a brand new 2.0 8V (2E or AGG) supersprint tubular manifold for £62 on ebay :p

Just a quick question before getting it adapted to fit, are there any known fitment issues with the manifolds between the golf mk3 and ibiza mk2 2.0 8v 2E/AGG,in regards to bulkhead clearance, and possible gearlinkage or steering racks clearance? Ive found a load of threads regarding the ABF's, but no mention of the 2.0 8v cupra's.

Can someone point me to a thread or answer :)

Thanks guys..super car to!

Ive had a quick measure and fiddle around, not fully fitting until the weekend (hopefully). From the initial look, im pretty confident this will fit without much tinkering. Will let you know either way :)

Had a quick look on supersprint website, dont know wether its relevant, but the seat toledo has the ibiza mk2 manifold and golf mk3 manifold listed as compatible for the 2.0 8v. Are these built off the same platform, or are they the mk2 golf platform..cant exactly remember...probably barking up the wrong tree.

either way, will keep you guys posted..lets hope it goes plain sailing :)

Got around to fitting it yesterday. Its a nightmare of a job to fit :( But I can confirm it fits without any bulkhead bashing or pipe bending :) Its a straight fit.

I will get some pics up as soon as my post count is higher. Just running a straight stainless pipe to the oem backbox at the moment, will improve this next month!
