Hey people have just recently had my gearbox rebuilt and fitted a new vr6 clutch and g60 flywheel which I must say i am very pleased with as it revs noticeably quicker in the taller gears only problem is my car started to sound like a tractor over the last week and I've noticed I have several bad cracks in my exhaust manifold one I could get a piece of paper through it's so wide, my question is rather than buy another standard one I was thinking of upgrading, I have seen a couple of stainless 4 - 1's on flee bay one equal length and one unequal lengths, so are there's any good if so what's best performance wise, at the moment it's running 240bhp on a ko3s with the standard manifold also what sort of power could I expect which a high flow mani?
Cheers
James

dont get one of those ebay manifolds there crap, either buy a standard one and give it to bill to port or get a jbs manifold , i went for a jbs :p:p i was surprised in the size differnce with the standard and jbs

There a bit steep for me, what sort of gains are to be had from the jbs though? Also what gains from the standard one if ported? Don't really fancy buying a used one incase it cracks so going to get a price for a new one, do you know roughly how much it would be to be ported?
Thanks

not too sure on the gains but im sure bill says this ported ones are as good as a jbs manifold i only bought my jbs as it was up for sale at £250 plus with going hybrid wanted something up to the job
