Exhaust Rattle - Driving me crazy!!

Okay, This is just ridiculous.. At first, I thought it was the manifold heat shield.. It very well could be, but it just sounds like a tractor. There is also a sound coming from underneath the car. I am now embarrased to have people in the car because it sounds that bad.
Has anybody had this problem before, because it sounds like its doing damage, I need to get this sorted..

May be worth replacing your exhaust hanger rubbers with new OEM stuff or possibly some stiffer Powerflex items, just a thought, ideally you need to get it up in the air and have a look.

Cheers dude.. I'll hopefully be getting my suspension done at weekend up, so it will be in the air. Any idea of how much they cost buddy?

i had this, was the silencer hanger brackets rotted away leaving the exhaust rattling against the top of the rear subframe! replaced with new when i had the bueflame put on. cant remember how much but not expensive at all mate!

That reminds me, must phone the exhaust place, see if my part is in, mine only rattles with 2 or more people in it though

Cheers guys.. I'll get them sorted at the end of the month. Do you know if the cupra backbox fits the chill?? If so, I can replace my standard backbox and the rubbers at the same time..

Check your heatshields are secure with the retaining washers on the ridged lugs. I had a rear one on the passenger side come loose and it sounded like I was carrying an empty metal biscuit tin under the car!

It was a clamp after everything guys.. It was rotten, and flapping about.. Thanks everyone..

But..... Now, I get my exhaust hitting the underside of the car. Especially in reverse??
