Exterior Light Malfunctioning Light on dash

Hi all,

A warning light has come on and stayed on indicating that an exterior light is not working properly (I have read the manual!). But I have checked all the possible exterior lights, even the rear number plate light, and they are all definitely working

Anyone got any useful ideas / suggestions, if not I guess it is a trip to the local dealer!

Yes it is
