External wastegate

hey there
I’ve wondered about installing an external wastegate to my cupra 290.
What are the benefits?
Does anyone installed external wastegate?
I’ve also think to add Forge blow off valve, what are the difference between the two?

Not sure on the setup of the leon but in general Without fitting a new manifold and down pipe and blocking up the internal wastegate on the turbo you can't fit an external wastegate.
A wastegate bypasses the exhaust gasses around the turbo propellers to control boost.
A dumpvalve/blow off valve releases air pressure from the pipe between the turbo and the inlet manifold.
