It looks good Bret, I need to get mine done.

My Leon's exactly the same at the back, including the badges (I removed the SX badge on mine), so it gives me the perfect impression of how it will look - definately modernised and sleek.

Have you also thought about colour coding your black strips around the sides and back like Jimski did on his old silver MK1?

i.e. from this:

He reckons it cost him £180, but that was mate's rates and could cost upto £250 normally.

I'm thinking about doing it to mine, as it definately makes it look better.

Not sure i think the balck splits it up,my bro is a panal beater & sprayer so could have it done cheap but i am concentrating on wheel atm

With it being winter I'm not putting new wheels on yet, am doing that in spring, although might buy some in the meantime, but colour coding looks good to me, makes the car look a lot less family-car-sensible and a bit more stylish.

Hi, newbie to the cupra site, well not entirely as I've been browsing through this great site for a while now but your post has made me want to sign up, simply because i myself now have a seat leon mk1 in silver & love it to bits!

Want to get it colour coded - 2 questions, how much did it set you back and where did you get it done from :) Any advice would be greatly appreciated !!

Hi Brett - just noticed your alloys on your seat, how much did they cost you? I'm stuck between getting something similar to yours or maybe rs8s
