That looks awesome mate, really makes the front end look more aggressive. Ive just ordered my wrap.... Just hope it looks half as good as yours when done.

I seen some pics of the facelift cupra and really liked the front of it so I decided to do something similar on my fr. Some matt black vinyl and an afternoon's work :)

What did you use to cut the vinyl when its stuck down and ready for trimming ?
My vinyl and felt edge squeezy came today.
Did you just use a stanley blade or one of those scalpel knife thingys ?

Use a scalpel blade and practice how much pressure you need on something off the car.
you'll be surprised how little is needed, unless you've bought cheapo Vinyl

I cut out a template using tracing paper first and then transfered this onto the vinyl. Any bits which sat proud, I trimmed using a scalpel.

I was just wondering how everyone did there Vinyl wrapping ?
Im hoping to do my upper and lower bumper sections today and maybe my grille surround.

Ive just watched a demonstration video and the guy doing the wrap sprays water on the vinyl as hes doing it.... Did anyone off here do this ?

I didnt use any water but did use a hairdryer and a stiff card to squeeze the air bubbles out. How I did the rest is in the post above yours. Put some pics up when youre done and good luck.

It really is easy mate just keep the hair dryer on it :) makes it easier

Ok mate, was your reg plate screwed on or stuck on ?
Mines stuck on and Im now thinking when I peel it off Im going to have to clean aload of left over sticky tape stuff off.
I havent got anything to stick it back on with either.
