facelift fr wing mirror cover removal

Hi

Can anybody please tell me how to remove wing mirror covers off my facelift leon fr as im wanting to get them sprayed black to match my black orion wheels.

Yeh, the method of removing is different too. As i found out in that thread.

just an update i followed instructions and photos that another member had posted. I placed tie wraps round glass and pulled gently they came off quite easily then eased the clips together and the covers came straight off. getting them painted monday should be ready to clip back on tuesday.

Well I am glad that I have managed to help somebody . I have the next saga (hopefully) starting tomorrow when my new Cupra Grille arrives from SERE Motors. Hopefully it will be quicker and easier than the mirror covers!
