Can someone please point out exactly what differences there are on the pre-facelift and facelight models?

Mine's a 52 plate 1.6 S, and I've no idea if its facelifted or not.

Only difference I've noticed on other Leons running about is that some, like mine, have recatangular shaped mirrors, others have a more rounded top to them.

Thanks

Mike

Yours is not facelift, don't think you can get a 1.6 facelift.

There was thread about this not long back where I put some pictures up of both :)

Thanks, I did do a search, but couldn't find anything. So I take it it's only the Cupras that were changed?

Yeah, the wife's 2005 1.4S has teardrops. I think there are some changes internally as well, such as the passenger airbag light to the right of the hazard switch... I read somewhere that this was a facelift thing, but I'm not sure

The LCR came out post-facelift and the early ones (like my 210) have electrically adjustable, electrically folding, heated square mirrors, while others have the same features in a tear-drop. Whether LCs or any other non-LCR had all of that I don't know.

Personally, since we have one Leon with the square Mk4 Golf mirrors and one with the teardrop mirrors, I think that the teardrops look nicer but are less practical, ie you can see less in them than the square mirrors.
