Failing to find brakes on options/parts lookup

So my wife's leon is due some new brakes discs and pads but I'm having a nightmare identifying the option codes so I can order the correct parts. I've searched and found guides suggesting to check the sticker in the boot decoded it and no brake info there. Tried paying for erwin only to find they no longer provide the details to individuals.

What am I doing wrong? How do people actually find the correct parts for these damn cars?

Sticker in the boot contains only some of the option codes. A dealer willing to help may provide the full list which Erwin no longer provides. People mostly try asking for help on forums like this. Other than that, there are some websites that offer some useful services with official and up-to-date information from manufacturers. partslink24.com is one of them and I for one have been using it for a long time. A 24-hour access would give you the ability to look up all the parts for your VIN, and you''d get the full PR list of your car for a monthly subscription.
