fan problem

when i start my car from cold or hot. the fan comes on and then off every 10 secs or so.
i had a water leak and am waiting on a new water pump.(the one that sits at the front of the car on the drivers side)
any idead what could be wrong?

Melted fuses on top of the battery or water in your ECU connector

where is the ecu on the ibiza?

on the driver side, at the back of your engine, move the stupid plastic things and you will see it (think thats it anyway) on the opposite side to the pollen filter

car is still putting the fan off and on not checked the ecu yet but cheacked the fuses and there all ok!!

mine is doin it at the moment (LCR) but only with the air con on, if i turn it off its fine,

i had this problem with mine when i first bought it.. turned out to be a corroded ecu plug.
