Fan speed increase's when in reverse gear

Anyone else's car do this. my heating/cooling fans seem to speed up when putting car into reverse

First time it happened I thought it was just a coincidence.

But now it seems to do it all the time

Car's a Cupra, but not that that should matter.

Can't see a reason why this would need to happen.

sounds like its louder but its just closed off to the outside so you will hear it more

hit the recirc button and you should hear the same effect

Hehe, yes, this is definately true.

I think that my rear bumper is too close in the middle to the hatch, it look's like it is JUST scraping the bumper, there seems to be a few small marks on the top of the bumper.

That's what I thought. The dealer is already aware of it, and it should be sorted when it goes back in. At least it's been confirmed now
