Who own's the fastest mk2's? and what have they done to achieve this please?!

It was Owens car that was quickest that day with al not far behind. Doesn't seem to have been beaten yet and that's been over a year now!

On another note I just put my time into that board think I am second last ... :) happy days!

Owen got a cracking start on his 1/4 mile, hence the lightning time. I ended up driving the MK2 LCR that day, so only got a few runs in my own car and therefore never got the 60 foot times down enough to beat him back.

Revo code has the legs on GIAC though.

Aye that was a cracking run for a car with no performance mods min.

hasnt buzz got the fastest car? he had to put difference dials in up to 200 mph.. i mean come on thats going to take some beating...

Well most the cars are stage 2+ like yourself and have the seats lobbed out maybe the odd lightweight battery and wheels here and there and sticky tyres.

Nothing extreme though apart from the top two. You should easily be on the list with stage 2+ around top 15 with the seats out.

I've run a 12.78 quarter mile about a month ago with my APR Tuned K04 Leon Cupra.

I am sure this would have been possible in mine if I had some 888's fitted. Biggest problem getting that time is 60 foot times, but they can be greatly reduced with sticky rubber.

Well done by the way :)

Thanks Al

Did you run your time on street tyres or some other brand of semis other than the 888's. Definitely need some good sticky rubber to get tghe 60 foot times. My best 60 foot was about 2.07. How do yours compare ? I ran with Hoosier semi's.

I also find that I'm almost hitting the limiter on 4th just before the finish line, so its a toss up whether to change to 5th or keep it in 4th. I've found it better to finish in 4th than lose time changing to 5th. Does this also happen to you?
