Hi there,

I am getting the following faults with my 9N1 Polo, Just wanted to know if anyone could tell me whats wrong, I have located the faults with the ross-tech site and there seems to be a problem with my battery but I am not sure what to replace or repair. This morning when I took the car out, all the dash lights started flickering on and then the heaters started blowing air itself and then the car started bleeping. Could someone clear things up for me. thanks for your time

I would guess that these codes are all linked. Do you know how old these codes are?

Assuming they are new and recent, it would be worth double checking the voltage output from your alternator as it sounds like the regulator on it might be faulty.

If you find that the output is low, change the alternator. I think that is causing the "Supply Voltage" faults. Clear them after the change, and see what comes back.

Have you had the charge light come on at all??

Hi, I only did the scan yesterday after the car warning lights started playing up. The cars fine today so I think ill wait till it starts playing up again before changing the alternator. Thanks for your help.

Hi, Just had the alternator changed today and still the same faults occur. What could be wrong????

Please forgive the silly question. Did you clear the codes after the alternator was changed, then rescan?

Just want to be sure the codes wheren't the old ones still...

Also, did you do any testing on the alternator and battery to check the outputs? It could be a dud battery if the codes are still there??
