Bought a brand new Leon November 2024. Started having some issues immediately but thought it was my iPhone, eventually bought a new iPhone, problems continued. The infotainment screen constantly rebooting, maps unusable, car tries (and fails) to make endless SOS calls whilst I’m on my way to work, it tells me I have no parking brake… the list goes on. We book the car in to the local dealer, they give it a software upgrade, I go to drive it away and it’s not fixed. Book it in again, they can’t fix it, they disconnect the DAB radio and they send a technical report away… I hear nothing back. We book it in again a month later, they can’t fix it, meanwhile, I drive it as little as possible (which is sad, as I bought it to retire with, get about, enjoy freedom). When I do drive it, the issues get more frequent. I have gone through Seat customer service and have been informed this afternoon that there is currently no fix. So. What do I do. I can’t use it confidently, I can’t sell it. It’s done less than 7k miles. I’d lose so much money if I sell it (I’d have to sell it back to a dealer and they’re not going to swallow the depreciation, why should they). I feel like I’m being cast aside, let down and I’m worried that this will drag on and on. Has anyone had any experience of these issues and more importantly, has anyone had any success?

There have been many instances of the interior light causing sporadic SOS calls.

What software version is the infotainment unit running? (Should be under settings then information).

We’d be happy to take a look at this, could you send a message with the reg or VIN so we can have a look?
