Anyone think that the Leon horn sounds a bit :gay: ?

Anyone fitted a new air horn? Any sound clips?

How easy is it to do & whats the cost ?

I think that the LC has a dual horn (2 separate horns), it maybe that one of them has died and you're not getting the full sound...

That said .. emm Air Horn

Horn was utterly camp ... got electric airhorns on mine courtesy of stebel - site seems to be closed now but they definitely do the trick

No you don't even have to remove the arch liner. Just reach up behind the bumper. It's held by one 10mm nut.

If you are replacing with a non-Vag one, you may have to splice in a couple of wires with suitable connectors on the end.

My dads last 206 had the puniest horn out. Fitted twin air horns and used tomake people **** themself when it sounded. On roundabouts or walking down the street.

Illegal of course. You'd need it on a separate relay with a selector switch.

I have (only) one of those aaaaa-oooooo-ggghhhhh klaxons. Passed the MOT with it on.
