Filters ??

Hi guys im looking into a new air filter for my LCR but not sure whats best either someting like K&N cone induction kit or just a pipercross panel filter, i would like a bit of noise but not excessive

I would recommend a cotton panel filter from Green or Jetex. Jetex also do carbon pollen filters which filters pollution - great when following dirty dervs!

Induction kits of filters

Hi guys, i put a thred on here before asking which is the best way to go, either a panel filter or a induction kit like a viper etc, I have spoke to alan from revo at the Mk1 golf centre and he says induction kits just make noise and have very limited benefits and that a pipercross panal filter is much better.

Now i would like my car to be a bit grunty so what would you guys recommend ???

hi, mate been there! i had a k&n induction made a great noise, and i could really hear the dv, forge 007p, but no extra performance, so i took it off and had a pipercross panel, nice sound, in car only, better than the k&N, now i have a pipercross panel with a smoothed & drilled air box, bigger air feed, the sound is brill, and the performance is better pulls harder, i,m runninga jabba custom stage approx 285. 290 bhp
