After several delays, finally last monday I picked up my new TDI150 ST.
Colour is Polar Blue, which I find very nice :D
It's fitted with full LED (well... sort of, you know what I mean :p) Satnav and basically that's it.
It replaces my old company Scenic, so at least now I have 2 Leons lurking from the garage door, the other being a 1.4TSI FR.

I must say that the ST is faaaaaar more comfortable, this I guess due to the 16" vs 18" wheels. However I specced the FR with most gadgets from Seat's catalogue and I must say that I miss them on the ST...
Auto Lights, Auto high beam, Lane Assist, auto wipers etc, make a hell of difference once you're used to have them.
On the other hand I was very surprised by how quiet the engine is. At motorway speed I can't say it's any louder than the petrol engine.
And it has the advantage that at motorway speed it pulls far more strongly than the TSI. Considering that 80% of the journeys I make are on motorways (and most of them in Germany) that's a big advantage.
On B-roads I still find the TSI engine far better, with enough low down torque and a wide rpm range, which you'll miss on the TDI.

I have however a couple of small issues that I need to check, maybe someone has already encountered them:
1- Sat Nav autozoom: you can disable it, but each time you restart the car it gets reactivated... I seem to recall a thread here for the same issue, but cannot find it
2- LED headlight: I will try them side by side, but from first impression the ones on the FR seem to be much brighter.
I might be wrong as most of the time I have the automatic high beam activated, but I was quite surprised by the lack of light when I switched them on the first night, which never happened to me with the FR...

Well that's all, now I just have to clean the FR and make some pictures :D:D

Re. Autozoom - it's a bug in the software. I've got a case open with Seat CS but I've got to demo it to the dealers before they'll do anything and then I doubt anything will happen.
