Finding a boost/vacuum leak .... Party fog machine ?

So sounds silly i had a smoke test done on my car for boost leak and it was wicked but 50 pound . I have a fog machine which would have the same result but some people have done it some people are against it hmmmmm help ?

What does the party fog machine use for fuel?

I wouldn't use a smoke machine if I were you the fluid leaves a horrible residue on things which probably won't do the engine any good

The real deal smoke testers (a redline smokepro is usually the weapon of choice) burns light oil, like baby oil. This leaves no odour, residue or stains but if a machine is burning something thicker or heavier then this would certainly be a cause for concern as mentioned above.
