Hi, just got my Leon 1.8t 20v AUQ stage 1 mapped, it already had a few mods that the mapper took into account (ramiar induction kit, fmic, sports cat and straight through) it feels crazy fast which obviously i like, but it seems to boost upto around 18psi then seems like it stops then boosts again so feels a bit jerky when giving it the beans, also seems that when it boosts it throws you back in your seat but soon as the recirc valve opens you get thrown forward like youve hit the brakes.

any of this sound familiar to anyone whos had it mapped, ive ordered a forge 007 from Thai on the bay and ordered a new N75 to try them out see if its something like that, theres no boost or vacuum leakes that i can see after smoke testing it.

any ideas?

Take it back. If you're in the business of remapping 20 year old cars you have to be prepared to be able to fix hiccups. By all means try the N75 and Forge (yellow spring I think), but let your remap man fit them, or at least do it together. You don't want to be left with a crap map and him having done a runner.
It should drive like stock but obviously faster with a more savage boost. But there should be no jerkiness.

yeah I already messaged him and hes trying to help me, I told him I was going to try the N75 and DV first and he said to let him know if any difference. I fitted the new N75 today and it didnt change anything I also stuck in a new set of plugs and still the same so if the Forge DV doesnt work then i will need to take it further
