Yesterday saw me at my multi-tasking best. The start was going to be two details on cars - booked for Paint Protection details - wash, clay, cleanse, wax, etc. After filling the water tank I set off to the customers address (40 miles round trip)

The weather was looking decidily dodgy, so as the cars are only a corner apart, and the owners are good mates, I brought both cars to the one address and worked both cars at the same time! :D

Some before on the Cupra:

Wheels washed first, then the paintwork:

didnt need quite as much foam for this one:

After this both cars were clayed with Pinnacle Ultra fine, then Tardis tar remover - more so on the cupra, had a fair bit of tar on it. Then rinsed and dried. I then used Duraseal cleaner sealant - enabling me to clean and seal each car in one go. And as the sealant would need some curing time, I could apply to one car, move to the next and not waste time. How efficient and effective!

Whilst more sealant curing was going on I waxed the alloys on both cars, dressed arches, cleaned glass and the exhaust pipes. Then off with the sealant, and out with the Wolfgang Fuzion wax. Applied to bonnet and roof of each car and then removed. Weather was looking very dodgy now, so wanted to get the flat surfaces finished so i wouldnt have touch them again if it did rain. I then continued, and waxed all vertical surfaces on both cars. Tyres dressed, and a check round and wipe where needed. Both cars then vacuumed inside - the Panda had a bad water stain on the passenger seat, so that got wet n dried too.

Thanks to Mike and Andy - and also to Mike's dog Bentley (who prob weighs more than me) for the 'all four legs off the ground' running jump and meet to say hello.

So, with these done, I then set off to complete the fortnightly maintenance on my 535d. (70 miles round trip). As the weather was good, and I had time, it also got the Fuzion wax (cos it was in the van) and all leather was cleaned and then re-protected with LTT leather protector.

Now it was time to get home.

Once home, the van was emptied of its contents - completely. Absolute weight saving on my mind here. Back on the motorway and off to York (140 mile round trip). Finally back home for 9pm, tired but all my jobs and more completed and I'd been and collected my goodies which Glyn had picked up for me. Glyn even managed a few beers in the pub whilst I sipped my lemonades :wall:

One hell of a long day, and around 250 miles added to the van too.
