I did my brakes jet black with red seat decals as i felt red brakes would look a little OTT. This was in keeping with my red/black FR theme though. They look great from a distance as well as up close with the little bit of red on them

dont like the black mask, the silver one looks better on that color of the car...
paint the front bumper in black (the part with the plate)... it will look much better...
the car is too high, put 5 cm eibach to lower it...
for me, emocion red fr must be standard (without aero kit parts...)

this are just my thoughts, the importent thing is if you like it! ;-)

how did you paint the brakes with seat logo? it looks great!
where did you find the splitter, and how did you put it on?

i havent seen the last pics early, so now when you have chanced the silver mirrors, and if you are going to paint the bumper, the car is going to look good...

I used Foliatec black caliper paint and then bbrought 300 degree pre-cut SEAT decals from Ebay.

I sprayed my mirrors gloss black to match the grille & splitter. The splitter took about 30 mins to fit with some 25mm self-tappers

I used hammerite red for my brakes.. it's not ideal stuff to use but it gave me good results.. A quick spray and brush with meguiars wheel cleaner and they come up well..

The splitter just get from a dealer you'll be less than £20.. I got mine delivered to a local garage for free and just collected it from their... Don't hit rabbits with them.. I tried it last night, it was literally a game of two halves.. for the splitter and the rabbit.

Your brakes look great, defo given me food for thought.

Is your splitter for the Mk2 Leon or is it from a different model, looking at the pics it is not as wide as the front of the car, would off thought the ends of the splitter would be flush with the edge of the bumper or is it just me?

shame its red really, and the dealers will slaughter you for it as a trade in (as with any red car these days....including my touran I am changing...pearl blue next time). And as for my Leon I will be getting a white one next as they look awesome on the road, even more so than my current yellow one.

Not quite sure why you say red would have a negative impact on what you would get as a trade in, particularly on the FR?
Yes, I can't sit on the fence cos me pride and joy is red but not had any negative on the colour up to press from dealers or otherwise.
Each to their own.

What a load of bollox!!!

I'm sure mileage, spec, condition, previous owners come alot further up than ''Sorry Sir we arent offering any deals today on brand new cars because your car is Red, very sorry we just don't want your money''

I feel a flaming coming on , colour doesnt matter - unless it really is extreme (Illuminous green for example).
