150 max mate.... our labour rate is £72 plus vat so 86.40 an hr plus parts so usually they come between 130 - 150 depending on the engine and oil used etc. i tell people 150 as a worst case scenario...always better to under promise and over deliver that vise versa

I really can't see how garages can justify charging such an extortionate rate for their service. I know they have to recover overheads etc etc, but anything over £45-50/hour is a blatant rip off imo.

You're not wrong... especially given the "skills" needed to perform basic servicing start & end at righty tighty, lefty losey. That & dragging a gritty rag over a car.

Hoovering is a challenging skill too. Don't think that the servicing valet is actually free!

haha i agree.....but main dealers get away with it... u buy bmw, audi ....u pay even more
