Hit a speed bump a little to hard today by mistake and broke half of the splitter.

Just wondering how to fit a new one??

When I fitted one on my pd150 I just screwed it onto the bumper, but when I looked under the lcr the splitter seems to go into a small gap. Like it slides in some how

Any guides or ideas please

Thanks mikey

Start by pulling out the sides of the splitter - the fitment is an interference-fit plastic 'tongue' that slots into the bumper. Once the edges are free, locate the two central 'posts' at the front edge of the bumper and push downward. These are a particularly stiff plastic lug but not brittle, so just apply plenty of downward force until they pop free.

If you're able to jack the front of the car up to give yourself a bit more space, you'll find it easier to refit.. The upward force to get the lugs fully into the bumper will lift the nose of the car a bit! Make sure to lift from the back edge of the splitter directly under the lug so that it pops into the bumper all the way along. A small amount of WD-40 or washing up liquid will help it slot in. After that, press in the edges firmly until it's all flush.
