Flashing Air Con ?

Today my 'AC' was flashing on and off, on my middle unit screen, where I adjust the temperature etc.
Any ideas why..?

Think it means it needs re-gassing

Just to ask... i want disable my air con from switching on but i dont want rip it out.lol...
If i get the gas removed willl that prevent it from switching on?

your air con wont work under a certain outdoor temperature, therefore it will flash, dont think it means regassing...

mines been flashing for a couple of weeks now, i was going to leave it till spring but now you say it doesnt work under a certain temperature that could explain why cheers guys

Mine used to flash in all temperatures.

Since I have removed it the symbol will still come on if you press the button but doesn't flash!

I hardly used mines, but mine comes and steam up front windows, dont want to regas it as i do it when summer is back...

On a slightly unrelated note - does anyone know how much gas is needed to re-fill your air con?
