Hi all I have got a flip key for my 2009 fr but for some reason the blade now does not sit flat who folded , it does not stay flat to the fob it sticks out a bit. Not a major issue but is there a fix for this or is it new key time ?

It does go flush bur the spring is not holding it flat it's like the spring has worn or something
Ah right just checked mine to see if the key part comes off easily but can't seem to budge it. Lol thought I'd best stop messing before I broke it,the fob comes apart in two halves to change battery but the bit with the key blade looks solid.Ill have a search for you to see what info I can find.

Hhhmmm pee's me off how some things are made.You can get the fob badge off the bay for cheap.One of my old Leon's didn't have the badge and had to get a new one. This will do the trick

They are pretty easy to adjust, its just tricky keeping everything held in place. I had the same issue on my old fob, I just bought a new one off eBay and got the new blade cut.
