Forge will benefit, but you'll mostly sound like a bus discharging its air brakes. I was given one for octavia but took it off as it was embarassing. Imo it just shouts wannabe suburu.

This is a full unit swap not just the spacer so does it still make the silly noise!

I believe the full unit is better than just the spacer since you're increasinf power. It will still give a nice blow off noise but I believe it is more oem than the spacer.

Not after any noise just want to uprate the DV . Is there an after market alternative or do you still have the oe valve?

Hey Dude
Yea they come with 2 springs and if you look on their site it will give you the PSI rating of the spring, however I find their ratings crap and go on the feel of the car. Some of the high rating springs are weaker than the lower ones. there is no consistency to their construction at all.

However I am running the blue that came with it. As for gains, there is a lot better pickup at low range.

I got mine as my OEM one was broken, i smashed the face if it and cracked it.

I would recommend one as the car just feels better but I would say order the springs as well and then see how the car feels, or get some VAGcom logging done as this will show problems if the springs are wrong.

And setting C :-( you’re brave, mine is staying well away from that setting until i get a few bits sorted.

I also have this valve and it came with 2 springs, A yellow one and a blue one. Forge told me the blue spring is the stiffer spring and should be used on remapped vehicles but if you compress both of the springs by hand you can easily feel that the yellow spring is stiffer, so im using that one.

Oh fair enough so the springs come with it then or do you order seperately thanks for the info will get service done and then look at getting one of these pose to protect the engine a bit incase oem one fails what happens if the oem one fails does anyone know?
