...A 2008 MK2 Cupra? Awsome-GTI's store doesn't make it clear what the differences are (some are called spacers, so do I need to buy 2?)...

The one I wanted:

Then I saw these also, what are they for?

And

Sorry for sounding a bit dense, but I don't pretend to know much about car mechanics, so always like to seek advice!

Speaking of the whole "dense" issue - I also saw this:

Anyone able to clarify where it goes, what it does, and will I need one?

Hmm, this one?

Where does that go under the bonnet then? Can I install that myself?

I want to make the car give off a satisfying "woosh" noise when you relase the boose pressure - that will do that?

thank's for clearing that up. I've just placed an order for the spacer and a new DV. I've already got my Carbonio (sp?) intake next to me so let the modding continue...

I know there the remote valve goes, as I took the stock one appart - but where does the larger thing need to go?

Woot! Just installed the new DV, Spacer and Carbonio CAI in one fair swoop this afternoon...

What a difference! Took a little over 3 hours (Most time spent installing the dam DV), but took it for a spin and grin like a cheshire cat for the entire time! :funk:

Car is more responsive now, and the "Psssssssssssssst" noise on a gear change or release of the accelerator is very, very cool and addicitve.

I took pics, so will post up guides and the finished article. Got a Cupra? - Get these 3 parts! Well recommended.

Now, let's get saving for the Miltek (Poor Mastercard!)...
