Debating to change my plans and get the cupra-r intercooler kit from forge to fit to my standard cupra and then just get new pipework to go from the turbo

Just wondered if anyone knew the core size? And what sort of price I should ask for my 600x300x76 size cooler? Brand new never fitted

Debating to mate... It doesn't have toyosports stamped on it but its identical in every way, exactly the same cooler I just been told that the one I have and the toyo one come from the same factory just the toyo one is supplied in a branded box lol if that makes sense?

Out of interest why the change of plan?
The race Forge one will flow well and cool well but i doubt it is worth the extra over the welly core
I went for bespoke welded pipework and sourced a garrett 600hp core and worked out cheaper than the Forge kit

My aim is that next year I'd like to go BT so wanted to make sure I had something built well and able to take the pressure etc and just like the forge stuff lol

Wellycooler has been used on many cars that have ran big turbo's, depends on how big a turbo you are planning on running though

The evedance I've got how many true 300 BHP K04 cars are out there. Now how many run the Wellycooler? These are big money cars with only the best fitted to them and they fit this cooler for a reason. Don't belive me ask the experts. Bill fits these him self ANC Niki at r tech also recommends them. If you want to sell this cooler at a loss then pay £700 for a cooler ghat at best it's equal to go ahead. Before you do just google wellycoer and see the results.

If you go for the Cupra r intercooler don't forget you'll need a new intake mani so the throttle body is on the right hand side as you stand in front of the bonnet

the toyo core 600x300x76 one is large.. its flowed well, low pressure drop, and cools well......
its price makes it a bargain upgrade.. It will need pipe fittings etc as its just the core unlike the forge full kit which is very comprehensive...

Its heavy which is my only -ve towards it.. but for road car meh...

I wouldn't bother with the Cupra R set up. Use Prawns fitting guild for your car and buy a AGU head and inlet manifold. Large ports the way to go.
Sorry if I've been stalking you on FB Rob lol. But don't sell it!
