Hi people what do u recommend on a 1.4tsi bocanegra i dont no weather to get forced induction or just a cone filter cheers

Last thing you want on the 1.4 tsi is an open cone with the engine temp.

Save your money and buy the ITG Maxogen kit

Yes it would be colder air but it won't be covering the whole area of the filter and the rest is more likely to be affected by heat soak than an enclosed unit

The fact your option will suck up water and probably lose power, while the cheap filter most likely will let small particles of dust into the engine causing problems in the long run.

The ITG is proven to gain you 10 bhp in the high end range on a stage one map which is more than any of the others have seemed to prove to do. Even the forge one restricts power on a stage one map

Just alot of money 300 isnt it i was going to mount a CDA in the same place as a itg next to battery i think as long as the pipe is direct front filter to engine it will flow fine

Personally id be getting the ITG, proven gains so the figures speak for themselves, other kits have not been so effective.

fit an ITG to my vrs this weekend and the quality of the item speaks for itself.

i always think if you spend 1000s on a car its not worth skimping on things and as my old man says buy cheap buy twice

But doesn't really bother me lol
