Whats the real difference between these two items? and are either easy(ish) to fit with resonable knowledge and tools?

The spacer does nothing, just makes the "whooosh" noise more noticeable, heard sounds like a bus tho..

The Recirculation Valve is to replace the OEM Recirculation Valve, when you are running higher boost (remapped)..... The OEM Recirculation Valve can't handle higher boost, so it would break easier... you still get the "whoosh" too.
