Hello,

The Brembo brakes on my Formentor are squealing, or something is. For the first 10/15 minutes on the motorway there is no noise. Then a light whine starts, it’s intermittent. Dealership in Spain have said it is normal but this wasn’t like this when I bought the car. Slower speeds it’s worse and I feel the vibration through the steering wheels slightly. Drives me mad, anybody got any suggestions or had this issue? Thinking of getting rid of it. Formentor launch edition with only 22k miles on it. Noise has been on and off for the past 6 months.

This reminds me before I bought my VZ2 I saw this video:

Basically the Brembo's don't return off the discs after braking, heating expands the metal and that creates the rubbing noise.

The later developed VZ5 uses Akebono brakes - so that really settled in my mind the VZ2 was likely the best spec for the Formentor in the UK.
