People of the (SeatCupra) internet, I greet you all far and wide. I thank you for allowing me to become a part of your collective, whilst also not trying to sound too cheesebaggy.

Forums, (to me at least) tend to end up being places where people take great pride in the skill of one-up-manship, exemplary in their ability to noncify newbies to the amusement of semi-regular posters. Hence the reason I tend to avoid them in plague-like fashion.

However, since I've spent so much on a f*"(ing car, I hope I can pick up some advice here when required, without sounding too much like someone's grandad after one too many Werther's Originals.

Agree - I’m on a few other VAG forums, and this one is probably the best - friendly knowledgeable members who are always happy to help other members old and new.
