anyone else had this warning? I had it for 6-8 weeks but ignored it because the car was filthy. Car has been cleaned but it’s still on. Always found it to be a very poor system and apply the warnings and brakes even when there wasn’t a car anywhere near me. Any suggestions or a dealer fix?

No, everything left as standard. Comes on as soon as I start the ignition and the amber warning light stays on the dash.
Similar issue to my current Skoda Citigo, it too has a ‘city safe’ feature and a warning kept coming up on ignition saying “Citysafe currently unavailable” - I’d end up holding down the Citysafe button to de-activate then press again to re-activate.
As i haven’t yet got my Ibiza *sigh* - I aren’t sure if it has a button to do the same?

Had the same issue, took it to a SEAT dealership to which it was a faulty sensor! They happily replaced it free of charge under warranty but forgot to recalibrate it to which their customer services department heard about it and offered the rear spoiler fitting for free
