Found a slightly damaged Ibiza to buy, worth repairing?

Unfortunately my 1.2 Ibiza's been written off, so am looking to buy a new one. I have quite a low budget, and have come across an Ibiza that's at a very tempting price. It's a 1.4SE, 2005, in the colour I want and with only 46k on the clock. These are usually over £3000 but this one is going for £1650.

However, here's the problem, quoted as in the advert:

'SOLD ON A SPARES REPAIR BASIS, DUE TO IT PULLS TO THE LEFT ON DRIVING, MORE WHEN PUTTING YOUR FOOT DOWN, THIS IS NORMALLY A SIGN OF A WISHBONE BUSH ETC, BUT HAVE NO TIME TO INVESTIGATE AS OFF TRAVELLING TO ASIA 10TH JAN'

'MY OTHER HALF IS USING DAILY SO MILES WILL BE SLIGHTLY HIGHER'

I'm clueless when it comes to repairs, so does anybody have any idea as to the problem and the cost of fixing this, or if it's even worth it. If it's just the wishbone bush, these come fairly cheap do they not?

Thanks

You would have to get it inspected to be sure. Or take it to a garage you can trust and get it up on ramps (offer a drink).

Wishbone are common fails and fairly cheap. Damage repair could be a nightmare to put right and be worse than the one you have now.

I'll send him a message and see what he's saying about having it inspected.

I've managed to find another car, same model only two years older and twice the milage, however it's the same price

Worth getting the older one with 80k miles?

Sounds like it has potential to be a massive scam TBH. If they were leaving the country (which I doubt) then surely they would have got any problems sorted and arranged the sale of the car in advance?
A simple mechanical fault will knock a few hundred off a car for sure, but not 50%. He could probably sell it to a garage/webuyanycar hassle free and get £2k. The fact that it's a cat c will knock the value down, but isn't necessarily a problem. If it's well repaired then you could get a bargain.

Of course I could be wrong, but it rings a few too many alarm bells.

EDIT: Just had a look at the ad. 'Will consider P/X for dci scenic' but if he's going travelling and wants rid of the car, why does he want a different car?!
Look at his feedback. He sold a peugeot estate last year, and just before that he bought a load of parts to fix one up. He's bought ibiza parts to repair this one, I suspect he can't find what's causing this fault and wants shot of the car, or knows it's going to need wishbone/strut/hub/lots of parts. By all means take a look, but be very wary.

EDIT2: He's also selling another cat c pug estate, because of a 'change of plans' no mention of leaving the country in 4 days...
