Had the car serviced on the 18th by Swindon Seat, next morning coolant warning light came on. Phoned Swindon and the service manager told me to top it up as it could have air trapped. Topped up and the last week only used the car for very short journey to work and back (5 mls)
Yesterday just before I got home from a 60 mile round trip, the coolant warning light came on.
Checked level and it had gone right down and water leak seen on the front of the fly wheels.
Seat Assistance called out and AA man thought it is the water pump that has failed. Car is just under 3 years old and 32k on the mileage.
Car taken to Seat Oxford and I am awaiting there call.
Warranty has 3 days left !
Anybody else had a water pump fail?
