FR front grill question.

Tried using the search function but didn't find a 100% answer. I need to know if the FR has the same front grill as the cupra or the cupra R

From what I've read I'm thinking it's the Cupra R

I need a new one and them seem to be hard to find. I've managed to find 1 on ebay that's a cupra R but don't want to be left with one that doesn't fit.

The FR has the same bodykit as the post-2003 Cupra (ie honeycomb grille)
The FR+ has the same bodykit as the Cupra R (ie slatted grille)

what bumper do you have on? Cupra r grill is different to 2 other front grills on the Cupra and the Cupra face lift, you can make a Cupra face lift (honeycomb) fit but requires some dremeling

Not sure what the bumper is to be honest it's just the one that came on the car.

The grill that's on the car but broke just now is the slated version not honeycomb. I'm not wanting to change it, just replace the broken one.

Aye. I got one from a local Seat Dealer. It wasn't in stock but they had it in for me within 3 days and it was a very good price. I can't remember off the top of my head but I'll check the receipt later and let you know.

Just checked the receipt. It was £28.08 Inc Vat.

Thanks for that mate. I bought the honeycomb grill instead, just got to work out what i need to do to get it to fit my cupra r bumper.
